1. No idea.
2. Self-defense most likely. They can’t eat us, but if they feel endagered, they will bite. Most animals and bugs flee from us, but if they are in a bad day, the results can be diferent. Not to mention that if something touched that spider’s web, it would most likely think its a prey. As for what they want… I guess they just want to be left alone, lol.
